Refund Policy

1. Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which students may be eligible for a refund of tuition and fees upon withdrawal from the College.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all students enrolled in academic programs at KARIMGANJ LAW COLLEGE.

3. Withdrawal and Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be processed based on the official date of withdrawal, as recorded by the Registrar's Office. Refunds are issued according to the following schedule:
Time of Withdrawal Tuition Refund
Before the first day of class 100%
During the first week of class 80%
During the second week of class 60%
During the third week of class 40%
During the fourth week of class 20%
After the fourth week 0%

4. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable:
Registration fees
Application fees
Laboratory or material fees (once classes begin)
Late payment penalties

5. Refund Process
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the Registrar's Office.
Refunds will be issued within 30 business days of the official withdrawal date and will be credited to original method of payment within 30 business days.

6. Financial Aid Recipients
Students receiving financial aid who withdraw may be subject to a return of funds calculation in accordance with federal and state regulations. This may affect the amount refunded and any outstanding balances.

7. Special Circumstances
In the event of extraordinary situations (e.g., medical emergencies, military deployment), students may submit a written appeal for a prorated refund. Supporting documentation is required, and appeals will be reviewed by the Refund Appeals Committee.

8. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually and may be amended to reflect changes in institutional policy or governmental regulations.
