Curricular Activities

As per the B.C.I. rule there should be atleast 50 contact hours of class room learning in a paper of LL.B. course curriculum. Therefore, students have to attend atleast 70 percent classes to appear in external examination of each paper. During the semester the students have to appear internal written tests and assignments of writeups and oral presentation. The curricular activity of the student also include participation in legal awareness camps, court and tribunal visits, internship etc. as per the direction of Bar Council of India. The students compulsorily have to take part in moot-court exercises under the guidance of a teacher assigned for this purpose. As a part of its academic activities, Karimganj Law College encourages its students to take part in moot-court activity and guide the students to acquire skill and knowledge of advocacy. The students are encouraged and guided to take part in moot-court competitions and is trying to sponsor Moot-Court Competitions of its own.
