Infrastructure
The Karimganj College authority, in spite of not having any regular financial assistance from the government, has developed a well-organized infrastructure for the college and is constantly striving to improve the infrastructure of the college as its regular activity. The authority has newly constructed hygienic toilet blocks separately for males and females with running water facilities. Among the basic academic infrastructure, the following need specific mention:
KLC Library– It has modernized its institutional library with a new installation of textbooks, journals, digital resources, and periodicals. The library has both electronic and physical study materials. The college authority has been serious about the improvement of the library infrastructure for improving the resourcefulness of the library.
Suratanu Bhattacharjee Memoriam Moot-Court Hall- The college has the best type of Moot-court infrastructure and the students are guided by experienced teachers to undergo the training process Moot court exercises. The moot court of the college is dedicated in the name of Late Suratanu Bhattacharjee, built on the donation by his sons Sri Sibendu Narayan Bhattacharjee and Sri Sitangshu Bhattacarjee.
Legal Aid Clinic– The college has also constructed a Legal Aid Clinic to provide legal help to the needy and poor.
Well-organized Classroom– Besides the above, it has renovated its classrooms and organized its classrooms infrastructure to make it the best-suited classroom learning purpose.
Legal Literacy Club– with the collaboration of the District Legal Services Authority, Karimganj the College has established a Legal Literacy Club to take up object-oriented legal literacy programs. The students are engaged in different activities of the legal literacy program.
CCTV Surveillance- The college campus is under CCTV surveillance and the classroom activities are being continuously recorded for the purpose of quality assurance.
The digitalization of Office Activities- The College authority is gradually shifting its office activity from manual to digital. It aims to digitalize its activity as far as possible to keep pace with the requirements.
The constructed land area of the institution is about 7250 sqft. The college has one administrative building reserved for the Chamber of the Principal, Office of the Principal, and for the Teaching Staff of the college. The college has one Canteen both for the Staff and students of the college.
