K.L.C. Campus Location
The Karimganj Law College is situated in R. K. Mission Road within the municipality area of Karimganj town, the district headquarter of Karimganj district of South Assam with 24.8643 degrees North and 92.3592 degrees East Latitude and Longitude.
The College was allotted khas land in 1985 by the then Deputy Commissioner of Karimganj, Shree D. N. Bhattacharjee, under the direction of the Ministry of Education, Government of Assam in Khushiarkul Mouza of Karimganj, and accordingly the possession of the land was taken and permanent building structure was raised for the institution.
The infrastructure of this institution of legal education is established on this allotted land which now comprises of three spacious Assam type Buildings and a large R.C.C Building. The institution is surrounded by other educational institutions of repute like Government H.S. School to the West M.M.M.C. Girls’ H.S. School on the East, B.Ed. College on the North-West and Bongo Sahitya Sanskriti Sammelon, Karimganj on the South.
The temperature of Karimganj revolves around 37 degrees Celsius in summer and 12 degree celsius in the winter with a variety of weather conditions among six seasons. The place is connected to other parts of Assam and also with the state of Tripura both by rail and roadway communication. The nearest airport [i. e. Khumbirgram) is about 75 kilometers and the capital of the state [i. e. Dispur, Gauhati] is about 350 kilometers away from the college.
